For those who aren't familiar with Facebook, here's a little introduction & 'how to' guide: | We decided to connect ourselves with Facebook, to use it's group facilities. It's an easy way for us to set up virtual communities. To help fellow journeyers around the world to connect with each other, to share stories, encourage one another and ask questions. It's also another way for us to touch base with all those who are already on Facebook and to update you all with our latest news. We like to meet you where you are at and with whatever media type you are familiar with. | | | And for those of you who have participated in workshops already we have set up a group, that is 'closed' to enable a more secure and intimate atmosphere for sharing. | | | | | | So - how does it work? - In order to either view our page, or join our group(s),
you first need to join Facebook. This won't cost you anything.
- To sign up, follow the steps on the Facebook home page.
Full name, email address, DOB and gender are required.
- Once you've signed up, you can go to your account
or privacy settings and set them as high or as low as you want.
| | | If you have already done one or more of our workshops, then search for our 'Rapha Journeying' group. Simply type this into the 'search' box, then request to join the group. You can also search for our page: 'Rapha Journey' The page is public for everyone to see and become a fan of. This is where you can keep up to date with all our latest news, post comments, ideas, thoughts etc.Do contact us if you have any difficulties or questions about Facebook. We don't want it to be a hinderance to you. | Why Facebook? Facebook gives people the ability to share and makes the world more open and connected. Millions of people use Facebook everyday to keep up with friends, upload an unlimited number of photos, share links and videos, and learn more about the people they meet. | | | |
Testimonials, thoughts & ideas from some of our FB members:
"Hello, I've been journeying with Rapha for just over a year. I'm excited about the idea of being about to 'meet' here with others, so I thought I'd tell you about the most recent part of my homework..." Elizabeth Parsons | | | "I agree. Also maybe a place where we could locate folks to bounce things off of that are more specific.
For example we might say, "Anyone already dealt with ... ... ... who would be willing to email with me for a couple of weeks while I'm in the thick of it?" Cori Anderberg
| "Thanks Rachel and Susan- so good to see this working so well! I am a regular reader and learner- thanks to everyone else for the questions and comments- I feel I am learning so much." Graham Read | | | |
